Erica's Rox:  As a vegetarian, I feel the need to point out that all of the feathers used in this jewelry have been collected from the ground. My mother lives in the woods and feeds the pheasants which come to our door every morning. My father's house has had doves living in the ivy growing up the walls since the 15 hundreds.  Recently he noticed that the ivy was struggling to hold so many nests, so he has now given them a dovecote; the babies sit on the edge of my window looking for seeds in the morning.  He always collects feathers for me aslo. Peacock feathers are thanks to Dr. Curtis J Way, and his beautiful, graceful friends who drop feathers every summer. Thank you so much for these gorgeous works of art.

I prefer natural uncut stones, the turqoise is from Arizona and Nevada mines purchased from Navajo, Hopi and Zuni traders. For some of the tribes, their major source of income is trading stones and jewelry.  Soon I plan to photograph some of their work so that you can buy it through this site directly from them.  I will not be taking any comisson for this, it is a privilage to advertise for such talented artists.
